| Selection Process | 1. Shortlisting Meeting the minimum qualification and experience requirements does not guarantee a candidate’s selection for interaction. A shortlisting committee formed by the Bank will determine the shortlisting parameters. Based on these criteria, a sufficient number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interaction. The Bank’s decision regarding shortlisting is final, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. 2. Interaction The interaction process will carry a total of 100 marks. The qualifying marks for the interaction will be determined by the Bank, and this decision is final. No correspondence will be entertained on this matter. 3. Merit List The final merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained in the interaction, arranged in descending order. If multiple candidates achieve the same cut-off marks, their ranking will be determined based on age, with older candidates placed higher in the merit list. 4. Wait List A waitlist will be maintained for each post and category. Candidates on the waitlist will be considered for appointment if selected candidates fail to join, resign, or are terminated for unsatisfactory performance or breach of conduct rules. To be eligible, candidates must have achieved the minimum qualifying marks specified by the Bank. The waitlist will remain valid for one year from the date of the final result or until a new advertisement for the same post is issued, whichever comes first. |

| How to Apply | i. Candidates will be required to register themselves online through the link available on SBI website https://bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings and pay the application fee using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card etc. ii. Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. Online application will not be registered unless candidate uploads his/ her photo and signature as specified on the online registration page (under ‘How to Upload Document”). iii. Candidates should fill the application carefully. Once application is filled-in completely, candidate should submit the same. In the event of candidate not being able to fill the application in one go, he can save the information already entered. When the information/ application is saved, a provisional registration number and password is generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved application using registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility of editing the saved information will be available for three times only. Once the application is filled completely, candidate should submit the same and proceed for online payment of fee. iv. After registering online, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the system generated online application form. v. Candidates seeking Age relaxation are required to submit copies of necessary certificates at the time of joining. No change in category of any candidate is permitted after registration of online application. |
