Selection Process | UPSSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment 2024 Selection Process 1. Written Examination The written examination will be a test in the form of multiple choice questions (MCQ). The exam will comprise of 100 questions, aggregating to 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour. The question paper will be divided into four sections: General Knowledge (30 questions): 30 marks General Hindi (30 questions): 30 marks Mathematics (20 questions): 20 marks General Intelligence (20 questions): 20 marks The candidates will have to secure at least 33% marks in each section for getting selected for the next round. 2. Typing Test (Qualifying) Typing test would be qualifying in nature, and candidates would be expected to type at a speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi. The test will be carried out on the computer and the candidates will be provided with a passage to type The candidates will be given the completion of the passage within the time limit set. This typing test will be qualifying and the marks gained in the test will not be included in the final merit list. 3. Document Verification The candidates who clear the written exam and typing test shall be called for document verification. Documents to be produced as original by the candidates High School Certificate Intermediate Certificate Caste Certificate, if Disability Certificate, if Other relevant documents These will be verified by UPSSSC officials, and self attested photocopies of those documents shall be sought by the candidates 4. Medical Examination The candidates who qualify the document verification will be called for medical examination. The medical examination will be conducted by the UPSSSC officials, and the candidates will be required to undergo a medical check-up. The medical examination will be conducted to check the physical fitness of the candidates. Final Merit List The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the written examination. The candidates who qualify all the stages will be appointed as Junior Assistants in the various departments of the Government. |
